KEVYN AUCOIN / KEVYN AUCOIN: Beauty & The Beast In Me is an Emmy Award winning documentary about the life of renowned makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin. In the 1980s, Kevyn rose from nothing to become the most sought after fashion and celebrity makeup artist ever. He was a key creative player in the pop culture storm that became the supermodel era of the 1990s. Soon after, celebrities began to seek him out and he was confidante, friend and speed dial necessity for A-listers in music and film. He became a celebrity himself with three best-selling books, Oprah appearances, numerous profiles and his own line of makeup. He used his celebrity to fight for gay rights and acceptance. He died tragically at age 40 in 2002.
